Simple, elegant design showcases product lines

Christner worked with CI Select’s internal design team to transform a tenant office space into an elegant, understated environment that allows this furniture dealer (St. Louis’ exclusive Knoll dealer) to showcase its product lines. We looked at a number of options for arranging the space so that it works well for display, client interaction, entertaining, and office functions.

The result is a transparent, simple space that allows furniture to be on view from various perspectives, but also controls the views to make the individual products stand out. Demountable glass partitions form the backbone of the space. Special attention is paid to controlled lighting and daylight so transparent spaces are warm and welcoming but not overly bright. A contemporary walnut wainscot serves as a backdrop for the Knoll Classic line, while other special materials highlight distinctive areas. CI Select carries a number of furniture lines, A/V equipment, and flooring products that are integrated throughout the space.
