An accelerated approach to expanding outpatient services
Project Story
Due to increasing volumes in the orthopedic and women’s health service lines, Southeast Health was looking to provide a new, easily accessible and state-of-the-art facility to meet patient needs well into the future. Because speed to market was important for the client, Christner worked with Robinson Construction on an accelerated project schedule and will complete the project through a design-build delivery method.

The Work
The new two-story, 70,000 square-foot medical office building brings together the Southeast Orthopedics and Sports Medicine Center and Women’s Integrated Health Services at its west campus location. The design of the building allows each service line to have a distinctive, expressed form. The two wings come together in a central, welcome space where convenient access can be provided to elevators, restrooms, and a shared conference center.
Orthopedics is located at the south end of the building to provide easy access to a future ambulatory surgery building planned for an adjacent property. It houses imaging, physical therapy and assessment, and exam rooms. Women’s services are located at the north end of the building and include obstetrics and gynecology services, flex suites for physicians with sub-specialties including Cardiac, Gastroenterology and Endocrinology.
