At Christner, we are invested in the success of our community and are dedicated to making a positive impact in the lives of others. We are proud to be recognized for the seventh year in a row on the St. Louis Business Journal’s Corporate Philanthropy List, ranked #5 in small companies! Christner donates over 2% of its profits annually to nonprofit groups and engages in office-wide service projects.
Over the past few months, we’ve partnered with several non-profit organizations to help further their missions and give back to our community.
The Women’s Safe House serves as a haven for women and families who are in immediate danger and are fleeing domestic violence. Their mission is to empower women and families to rebuild their lives free of domestic and sexual abuse through emergency services, education, and advocacy. Over the course of two weekends, Christner team members volunteered to help renovate a family living suite. Tasks ranged from spackling walls and ceiling cracks, rewiring wall outlets, installing ceiling fans, and painting.
In addition to our work with Women’s Safe House, Christner hosted a family day at Nurses for Newborns. The organization provides critical healthcare services through their Nurse Home Visiting Program to infants and prenatal mothers who experience a wide range of medical, economic, environmental, and social risks. After collecting items on the organization’s wish list, Christner team members visited Nurses for Newborns headquarters location to help organize donated items and pack home visiting kits.
Thank you to all of those who contributed to these efforts! We are so grateful for the opportunity to support organizations in the St. Louis community!
